11-00.tv was a 24/7 public-access livestream platform centering women’s voices, ideas, and experiences. Developed as part of an artwork by AK/OK, the project draws on feminist research using archival materials from Harvard University’s Schlesinger Library.

As a research assistant on the project, I was responsible for the end-to-end development of the website. I led the web design process, produced all interface mockups, and built both the front and back end of the platform from scratch. The site was conceived as a flexible, user-driven system, enabling artists, academics, and community members to curate 24-hour broadcasts.

Working within a four-month timeline, I independently managed user testing, QA, and documentation handoff, while collaborating closely with AK/OK for design direction and review. I also sought peer code reviews from community members with stronger technical backgrounds to ensure code stability. This project required a high degree of self-direction, adaptability, and problem-solving, and resulted in a robust platform that supported the conceptual and community-driven goals of the artwork.

Figma was employed for wireframing and interface iteration, with Adobe Photoshop used for graphics. The site was developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

Additional web development completed in 2021 by Alex Nawotka.
