Art Matters is a yearly non-profit art festival based out of Montreal, and is one of the largest student-run art festivals in North America. In my time as their graphic designer, I spearheaded the design of the website UI, social media content, and exhibition posters.

For their 2021 festival, the coordinators were looking for a design schema that conveyed calm, care, and connectivity in order to contrast the difficulties students had been experiencing throughout COVID-19. I approached my design work using gentle gradating colours and flowing lines; integrating illustrations of 'portals' that conveyed an idea of the festival acting as a portal between students, and the website acting as a portal between digital artworks and the in-person gallery exhibitions.

Using Figma, I designed the UI for all of Art Matters' website, including their home page, event programming, and online special exhibition, along with the mobile versions. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator were used to create posters and illustrations.
