As a collective member at The People’s Potato -- a Montreal-based, food justice focused non-profit -- I took the initiative to refresh key design assets in order to strengthen the Potato’s digital presence. The existing logo files and website graphics were outdated and inconsistent, making it difficult to stand out within the highly saturated visual environment of Concordia University’s fee-levy community.

My goal was to develop a visual direction that felt accessible, contemporary, and non-intimidating, while still embracing the playful, informal tone that resonates on social media today. Alongside updating visual assets, I created a set of flexible Canva templates and imported reusable brand elements, enabling collective members with little to no design experience to produce consistent communications quickly and confidently.

By prioritizing approachability and shared ownership, this work helped make design a supportive tool rather than a barrier; leaving plenty of room for experimentation and fun!
